Stationed in Kuala Lumpur, equipped with 4.2" mortars and searchights.
The mortars were in support of ground operations, and the searchlights
were used for night illumination and marker beacons for bombing missions.
It was composed of Malay gunners, transferred from 1st Singapore Regiment
RA and commanded by British officers on detachment from 1SRRA.
