Memorial Plaque in Westminster Abbey

 To those who served Malaya

 1786 - 1957

On a visit to the Abbey in 1965 I was surprised to find on the North wall of the Cloisters a Memorial Plaque.   To all the men and women who served Malaya from 1786 - 1957.

Once again some ten years ago I visited the Abbey with my two eldest grand children and showed them this Plaque.

In recent years I tried to get members of the N.M.B.V.A. interested but had little response.   However on Sunday the 11th November 2001 after the Cenotaph service & parade both Alan Atkins and myself went into the Abbey and had photos taken and obtained more information

That I have included.
