This is prompted by the fact that the Yanks have got up a petition to award Tony Blair a Medal. While he refuses to let the veterans of the Malayan Emergency receive one offered by the Malayan government as a thanks to those Veterans that fought and died for them.

I only have one medal, a GSM that's a bit threadbare,
I should have had another one but no said Tony Blair,
Malaya struck a Medal for Aussies, Kiwi's and Brits
That fought in the steaming jungle swamps against the Commie Git's.
Malaya was saying thank you to all those men that fought
That left them free of Communism, free to think and free to talk,
Australia they said thank you and the Kiwi's too
But not the British government they just said up you,
A great big snub the Malayan's got, thanks to Tony Blair
As he sat in number ten out of reach and didn't care,
They'll be no medals for that fight it was too long ago
You can tell it wasn't Blair that had to fight the foe,
It was the lads there in the jungle that had to sweat with fear
When Tony bloody Blair was still wet behind the ears.
You are not to wear those foreign gongs not without consent
And that wont be forthcoming so all you troops relent.
Ring-ring, Hello Mr. Bush, Tony here, what can I do for you
The Congressional Medal of honour you say,
I accept, O thanks, I'll do the same for you.
Ring-ring Is that Buck House? Tony here, now I want this understood,
A big fat Medal for my pal George, nothing less than a Grand Knighthood.
But I don't believe in------foreign---------awards. ??????????? Teedapper.
