HMS ALBION (1962-64 Commission) Reunion 2010

Following last year’s reunion I received 6 complaints concerning The Royal Maritime Club regarding both the food and accommodation.  Therefore, this year I have changed the venue, but remained in Portsmouth and I hope you are able to support the event.

·         Date:                     Saturday 30^th October 2010

·         Time:                     1800 Hrs for 1900 hrs

·         Dress:                    Smart casual / lounge suit

·         Venue:                   Best Western, Royal Beach Hotel,

                                    St. Helens Parade,                                                      

                                    PORTSMOUTH

·         Car parking, 60 spaces available on a first come, first served basis, with local on street parking by parking permit.

·         For those of you who have access to the internet, the hotel can be viewed via the web.

In booking this event I have been required to pay an up front £500 Non Refundable Deposit and have block booked rooms based on historical attendance at past reunions. As such, I am required to confirm total number of rooms required 4 weeks before reunion, and full payment 21 days before reunion.

The hotel has requested that all rooms be booked through me

Cancellation:  Please note that in the unfortunate event that someone cancels less than 21 days before reunion, the FULL amount is payable, regardless of reason unless the hotel is able to re-let the room.

Cost:   

1 night – Saturday 4 course dinner, bed & breakfast                                                  £ 73.00pp

2 nights - Friday B&B and Saturday 4 course dinner with B&B                  £104.00pp

3 nights – Friday B&B Saturday 4 course dinner, B&B, Sunday B&B         £137.00pp

Saturday night 4 course dinner for non residents:      £38.00pp

Unfortunately, there are no specific disabled person’s rooms.

If you wish to attend this year’s reunion, you are invited to complete the attached booking form. In doing so, payment in full will be required for those attending for the meal only, whilst a deposit of £50 per person is required for those requiring accommodation.
